A two-year-old boy has been airlifted to hospital after being critically injured in a car rollover north of Brisbane.
Queensland Ambulance Service said the toddler suffered head injuries after the vehicle rolled down an embankment at Nambour on the Sunshine Coast at about 6.30pm on Wednesday.
A 26-year-old woman was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with minor injuries.
The boy was airlifted to Queensland Children's Hospital in a critical condition.
"The little boy suffered multiple injuries in the single vehicle crash," RACQ LifeFlight Rescue said in a statement.
"He was first treated at the scene by Queensland Ambulance Service officers who determined he needed urgent medical treatment in Brisbane."
Police said the 26-year-old woman was assisting with their investigation.
