The 37-year-old refused to come on against Tottenham Hotspur as goals from Bruno Fernandes and Fred held the north Londoners to a 2-0 defeat.
He then proceeded to march down the tunnel and leave Old Trafford before the final whistle. As a result of his actions, the Red Devils boss suspended the Portugal international from the first-team.
Ronaldo has already broken his silence on the saga via his Instagram, claiming that he will continue to work hard and be ready whenever called upon. And, he since retaken to the platform ahead of United's clash with Chelsea.
