Cristiano Ronaldo & MrBeast ‘Break The Internet’ With YouTube Video
The footballing icon launched his YouTube channel back in August of this year and smashed records within a matter of days – gaining one million subscribers in just 90 minutes.
Since then the channel has continued to grow, currently sitting on 67.5 million subscribers and Cristiano Ronaldo has taken his latest step in progressing on the site.
The former Manchester United star announced that he would be welcoming a huge guest onto his channel that would ‘break the internet’.
Speculation began, with some fans wondering if it would be Ronaldo’s long-term rival and footballing icon, Lionel Messi.
However, on Thursday 21st November it was finally revealed to be the most subscribed YouTuber in the world and American megastar, MrBeast.
The influential YouTube star, who’s real name is James Donaldson, has amassed a staggering number of subscribers – sitting on 331m and having 64 billion views across 831 videos.
The two spoke about Ronaldo’s YouTube journey so far and MrBeast shared some of his knowledge about how the Portuguese footballer can build on his superb start.
Ronaldo cheekily asked if MrBeast believes that he will be overtaken by the former Real Madrid player and the American YouTuber responded.
MrBeast said: “No but I thought you would reach 20-30 million in the first month, and when you reached 60 million, I said, ‘Oh my God, the most subscribers in the history of YouTube. Before you, it was us.’”
The American YouTuber also suggested some video ideas for the footballing icon, suggesting that Ronaldo could react to his best goals of all time, film his reaction after a match and invite guests on due to his star-studded list of contacts.
