Cristian Stellini has admitted that Tottenham have a decision to make over Harry Kane's place in the Spurs team vs Preston North End. After scoring the winner in Monday's 1-0 victory over Fulham despite having a fever, the England captain has continued to struggle with illness this week and hasn't trained much with the rest of his teammates at Hotspur Way.
Kane was back involved in training on Friday, thus leaving Antonio Conte with a call to make as he gets his plans in place for the trip to Deepdale. The Italian does have new signing Arnaut Danjuma available for selection, though, after the Netherlands international joined on a season-long loan deal from Villarreal on Wednesday.
"Arnaut Danjuma is available, he is a player we can use tomorrow in the game," admitted Stellini. "We have only one problem, with Harry, because he played the last game full of illness. He didn’t train during the week, he trained this morning, but he wants to come with us and be available.
