The south American outfit will be eager to continue their rich vein of form as they take to the pitch for the first time since winning the World Cup in December.
The 24-year-old defender was integral towards his country's success, starting in all but one of Argentina's fixtures in Qatar. Romero will be eager to keep his place in Lionel Scaloni's side as they lock horns with Panama and Curacao on home turf later this month.
After a tough couple of weeks with Spurs, having been knocked out of both the Champions League and the FA Cup as well as Antonio Conte's latest attack, the Argentine appears to be enjoying his break from north London. On his Instagram story, Romero posted a collage of himself arriving for international duty with an intriguing caption.
