Crimson Desert is one of the most anticipated video games of 2026, with expectations growing sky high as the game’s release date draws near. Adding to the excitement is Crimson Desert’s star-studded voice cast, which includes actors from Cyberpunk 2077 and Stellar Blade.
As a sprawling open world action-adventure title in the vein of Red Dead Redemption 2 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Crimson Desert has a lot to live up to, especially in terms of storytelling and characters, as you will spend plenty of hours interacting with them. This is what makes its cast so vital to the core experience.
Below, you can find the full list of Crimson Desert’s voice cast, including details of its actors’ most notable video game roles.
Every Crimson Desert voice actor confirmed

Pearl Abyss has revealed the English voice cast for six characters in Crimson Desert, including its three protagonists—Kliff Macduff, Damiane, and Oongka.
| Character name | Voice / Performance actor | Notable Roles |
| Kliff | Alec Newman | Adam Smasher (Cyberpunk 2077), Castlevania Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate (Simon Belmont) |
| Oongka | Stewart Scudamore | Blackthorne (Final Fantasy 16), Rictus (Arcane) |
| Damiane | Rebecca Hanssen | Eve (Stellar Blade), Alfira (Baldur’s Gate 3) |
| Yann | Peter Bramhill | King Cailan (Dragon Age Origins), Egil (Xenoblade Chronicles) |
| Naira | Emily Barber | TBC |
| Myurdin | Alastair Parker | Blackwall (Dragon Age: Inquisition), Nergal (Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2) |
As is evident, most of Crimson Desert‘s main cast includes actors who have portrayed roles in popular European fantasy RPGs such as Dragon Age and Castlevania.

The protagonist Kilff is voiced by Alec Newman, who most recently voiced Adam Smasher in Cyberpunk 2077. Newman also voiced several other characters in Cyberpunk 2077, such as Arthur Jenkins and Anders Hellman.
However, despite playing multiple characters in CDPR’s massive action RPG, Newman’s longest role to date (videogame or otherwise) remains Kliff in Crimson Desert. In a recent interview with Epic Games, the Scottish actor revealed what it took to bring Kliff to life. “I’ve played this character longer than I’ve played anything,” he says, “[It’s been] extraordinary to watch it all grow.”
In the same interview, Newman revealed how he drew on his Scottish heritage to flesh out Kliff’s personality and took inspiration for his voice and his mannerisms from his wife’s stepfather, Graham Fleck, who passed away in 2022 after he was cast.
Another prominent name in this list includes Rebecca Hanssen, who plays Damiane, the strong and assertive female co-protagonist of Crimson Desert. Hanssen is most notably known for voicing Eve in Stellar Blade.
Many Stellar Blade fans are elated but not surprised to learn that the London-based Scottish actor is voicing Damiane, as both games are developed by South Korean studios. That said, unlike Eve, Damaine challenged Hanssen to explore a different side of her personality, which led to “an incredibly cathartic” experience, she reveals in the same interview, as it allowed her to draw upon her sense of justice.
So far, it seems Crimson Desert can do nothing wrong, with every piece of information adding to the ever-growing excitement. Thankfully, players won’t have to wait very long to get their hands on the game as it arrives on March 19, 2026, on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
