CRIME writer Ann Cleeves is appealing for help after losing a laptop containing the draft of half her next novel in a blizzard in Shetland.
The novelist, whose books have been adapted into hit TV series Shetland, fears the computer might have fallen out her bag as she made her way through Lerwick on Monday in wintry conditions.
The author is offering a reward for the return of the laptop although admitted it is probably buried under “a foot of snow” by now.
