A body has been found in a suitcase in the Oallen Ford area.
At 12.50pm on Sunday, August 9, police were called to Wolgon Road, near Oallen Ford Road, some 61km south of Goulburn, following reports a body had been located.
Hume Police District attended and found a body in a suitcase. It's understood a member of the public alerted police.
Inspector Nick Wiles said the body was yet to be formally identified but was believed to be female.
A crime scene has been established, and the suitcase has been seized to undergo forensic examination while detectives investigate into the incident.
Crime scene officers and detectives are on scene.
Police said no further information was available at this stage.
