The 200th Crichton parkrun took place on Saturday.
The popular event was first held in early 2018 and has gone from strength to strength – aside from being paused during the coronavirus pandemic.
The course used now is different to the original one and takes runners on a tour of the Crichton estate, offering stunning views across the countryside.
A fantastic 237 people completed Saturday’s event, with Steven Smith first home in 18 minutes 33 seconds – six seconds ahead of Haugh of Urr Olympian Jo Muir.
It starts at 9.30am and anyone interested should register at www.parkrun.org.uk and bring their barcode to the event.
