Creetown dropped their first points of the season against Mid Annandale on Saturday.
The two sides cancelled each other out, the game ending 0-0.
Creetown are still top of the South of Scotland League, five points clear of Lochar Thistle who have a game in hand.
Boss Jamie Adams said: “There weren’t many chances for either side. I think we both cancelled each other out, probably because we’ve both played each other a couple of times and it would have been a tough game for each team.
“Once it got to 60 minutes it was always going to be 0-0 unless there was a scrappy goal. I’d imagine both sides are slightly disappointed with how they played but neither side did enough to win it.”
While Creetown have enjoyed a great start to the season, they have been dealt a blow with the loss of Ian Miller.
The popular midfielder is leaving the club as work commitments mean he is moving out of the area.
Adams said: “He is a good guy, loves football and was top goalscorer last two seasons. It’s a blow but at the same time we have good competition and can hopefully get someone in.
“We’re not desperate, we’ve four games until the Christmas break and just need to get as many points as we can. It’s a difficult time to get players in and I’m more than confident in the boys we have.”
Creetown are once again on their travels this weekend when they go to Upper Annandale.
“They’ve had a few mixed results but it’ll be a tough game and the boys need to pick up the performance a bit from Saturday.”
