Emergency services rushed to the scene of a crash on the M80 this morning.
The incident occurred at around 6.30am today between Junction 6A and 6 on the major motorway.
Traffic Scotland confirmed police were in attendance at the incident, with heavy traffic on approach. Images showed heavy congestion as motorists struggled to move past the incident.

The collision has now been cleared with the road fully reopened. Traffic Scotland confirmed congestion levels were slowly returning to normal.
It is not currently known if anyone was injured in the collision.
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
