A person has been rushed to hospital for treatment after a crash this morning.
Emergency services raced to Old Loans Road near Troon around 7.10am after the smash.
The road which links Troon to Dundonald was closed off for nearly two hours with the casualty taken to hospital by ambulance.
It is not known the condition of the person or the nature of their injuries.
It is understood the crash was between two vans.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.10am on Tuesday, 22 November, 2022, police were called to Old Loans Road near Troon, following a report of a two-vehicle crash.
"One person was taken to hospital for treatment and the road was cleared around 9am.”
