Craig Reynolds returns to practice, starting his 21-day activation clock

For the second day in a row, a Detroit Lions offensive player currently on injured reserve returned to practice. Running back Craig Reynolds was designated to return from injured reserve within the next 21 days.

Reynolds has been on the IR since suffering a chest injury on his first play in the Week 9 win over the Green Bay Packers. The fourth-year running back had been averaging about 30 percent of the offensive snaps and three carries per game as a change-up back behind Jamaal Williams and D’Andre Swift.

Reynolds’ return to practice comes a day after wideout Quintez Cephus started his 21-day activation window. Cephus has been out with a foot injury.
