Cracknore Investment secures loan for energy-from-waste facility

Plans for a new energy-from-waste facility near Birmingham have been boosted after developers secured a fresh round of funding.

Cracknore Investment has agreed a £3 million loan deal from Broadwood Capital which it has used to acquire a 20-acre, vacant industrial site in Hams Hall.

It plans to build a new energy-from-waste facility there for which consent has already been awarded, with construction due to start over the next 18 months.
