Supermarket giant Tesco looks to be stamping out a Tiktok viral trend which basically involves people showing how they are cheating around coupons to score loads of free sweets. Videos on the subject have been viewed thousands of times and is based on exploiting what has been described as the ‘Tesco method’.
Videos on Tiktok show people picking up some staple favourites including Starbursts, Malteasers, and Skittles, all for free. Some show people making for the tills with trolleys being piled high with treats - only to be denied taking them away by staff.
Some videos suggest people screengrab vouchers and then use them. Now Tesco is understood to have taken action to prevent this coupon 'fraud' from working.
