KOCHI: The incidents of flex board destruction and the attack on a DYFI activist near Balussery was a planned attempt by local leadership of CPM and DYFI to create tension in the area, said state general secretary of Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) Ajmal Ismail.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, he said that CPM is following the same pattern that Sangh Parivar is following in North India, by creating tensions through arming the supporters belonging to backward class communities.
“Fazal, an NDF activist, was hacked to death in Thalassery in 2006 by CPM workers and his handkerchief was taken to the house of an RSS activist in an attempt to create a communal riot. After the murder, CPM leaders Karayi Rajan and Karayi Chandrasekaran held a press conference and leveled allegations against RSS. But later, the same CPM leaders were arrested for murder. The Innova car used to kill TP Chandrasekharan also had a sticker of ‘Masha Allah’ affixed on it. After the murder, CPM had tried to divert the investigation,” he said.
