The Arizona Cardinals’ head coaching search is starting to heat up. They have eight candidates we know of and now they are beginning to hold second interviews.
After a virtual interview on Saturday, Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn is being flown in Tuesday night for an in-person interview, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Quinn has been the Cowboys’ DC for two seasons after he was head coach of the Atlanta Falcons from 2015-2020. He was 43-42 with the Falcons, made the playoffs twice and the Super Bowl once.
He is also under consideration and a strong candidate for the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts.
The Cardinals have interviewed in-house candidate Vance Joseph, former Colts head coach Frank Reich, Quinn, Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, Broncos defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero and former Dolphins head coach Brian Flores. They had an interview scheduled with 49ers defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans and have one scheduled for former Saints head coach Sean Payton.
