This means that Covid-19 restrictions in Greece will also be dropped. Holidaymakers and locals will no longer have to show a Covid Pass to gain entry to bars, restaurants and other events.
This comes after Greece lifted the rule that required travellers to fill out a passenger locator form on March 15.
This will be very much welcomed for those planning on jetting off to the holiday hotspot for the summer holidays.
But officials warn that it restrictions could be implemented again after the peak holiday period.
Until May 2 however, travellers still need to show proof of vaccination, or proof of recovery or negative covid test.
Greece accepts private PCR test or antigen tests.
