Scottish women who had not been vaccinated against Covid-19 will no longer have their IVF treatment postponed by health authorities.
Dr Gregor Smith, the chief medical officer, has said that he has written to health boards across the country to confirm the decision.
Earlier this year in January, treatment was put on hold for females who had not been vaccinated under order of the Scottish government - the only exception being for those still awaiting a booster.
