Covid Scotland: Only two Edinburgh areas have low case rates as rest of city soars

Only two Edinburgh areas have been left with low coronavirus case rates as transmission in the capital surged.

An influx in cases has been seen in most areas around Scotland in the last couple of weeks, with hospitalisation rates also taking a sharp increase.

In the last seven days worth of data, almost all areas of Edinburgh have been put in the highest category of transmission, which is over 800 cases in every 100,000.
