Nicola Sturgeon has urged Scotland against letting its guard down in the fight against coronavirus despite admitting the country “is through the worst” of the omicron variant.
The First Minister used her address in the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday to reiterate the importance of adhering to current containment measures in an effort to stop the spread of the disease - even though case numbers have gradually fallen in recent weeks.
All Covid-19 protocols in place will remain so for at least the next three weeks before Sturgeon is due to speak to Holyrood again at the start of March.
