COVID lab leak theory advocate is in line for Fauci’s former role

  • Despite his background as CEO of Atossa Therapeutics and inventor of several FDA-approved drugs, Quay does not possess formal training in infectious diseases.
  • He is set to take over the role previously held by Dr. Anthony Fauci , who served for nearly 40 years before stepping down at the end of 2022.
