Covid Ireland: 9,938 cases but hospital stats fall in positive update from officials

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 5,265* PCR-confirmed cases of Covid-19.

In addition, on Wednesday 26 January, 4,673** people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.

As of 8am today, 708 Covid-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 71 are in ICU.
