New Covid infections have dropped by at least 50% in each of the areas that make up the Liverpool City Region.
And the drop in infections makes it 11 consecutive days that positive tests have fallen in each of the areas.
According to the latest data from Public Health England, the week-on-week percentage change figure drops in each of the LCR areas were: 58% in Knowsley; 55% in Liverpool; 50% in Halton; 55% in St Helens; 56% in Sefton; and 51% in Wirral.

In the Liverpool City Region overall there were 14,561 covid infections in the seven days ending January 16 - that's 17,198 fewer infections than the previous week.
This meant that the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 54% in the LCR as a whole.
Warrington, West Lancashire and Warrington and Cheshire West and Chester had falls in infections in the week ending January 16.
England had a decrease in Covid infections in the week ending January 16 too.

Liverpool
Liverpool's positive tests came to 4,334 cases in the week ending January 16, which is 5,245 fewer cases than the previous week.
This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 55%.
The latest infection rate was 866.0 cases per 100,000 people.
Wirral
Wirral's positive tests came to 3,267 cases in the week ending January 16, which is 3,379 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure dropped by 51%.
The latest infection rate was 1,007.3 cases per 100,000 people.
Halton
There were 1,410 positive tests over the last week - that's 1,388 fewer cases than in the previous week.
This means the week-on-week percentage change figure decreased by 50% in Halton in the week ending January 16.
The latest infection rate is 1,086.6 cases per 100,000 people.
St Helens
There was a total of 1,733 cases in the week ending January 16, which is 2,156 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate in St Helens is 957.0 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure dropped by 55%.
Knowsley
There was a total of 1,410 cases in the week ending January 16, which is 1,931 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate in Knowsley is 924.9 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure decreased by 58%.
Sefton
Sefton had a total of 2,407 cases in the week ending January 16, which is a 3,099 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 872.4 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases fell by 56% week on week.
Liverpool City Region
There were 14,561 positive tests over in the week ending January 16, which is 17,198 fewer cases than in the previous week.
This means the week-on-week percentage change fell by 54%. The latest infection rate is 855.15 cases per 100,000 people.
Warrington
There were 2,041 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending January 16, which is 2,072 fewer cases than the previous week.
The week-on-week percentage figure dropped by 50%. There was an infection rate of 974.71 per 100,000 people.
West Lancs
West Lancashire recorded 1,066 coronavirus cases in the week ending January 16, which is 1,180 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
This meant there was a week-on-week percentage figure dropped by 53%. The infection rate was 931.04 per 100,000 people.
Cheshire West and Chester
There were 3,482 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending January 16, which is 2,572 fewer cases than the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 1,012.73 cases per 100,000 people, and there was a week-on-week percentage decrease of 43% in cases.
England
In the week ending January 16, England recorded 549,149 coronavirus cases, which is 356,018 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
There was a week-on-week percentage drop of 39% in cases nationally, and there was an infection rate of 971.09 per 100,000 people.
