Covid cases in hospitals up 15 per cent despite fall in reported infections

The number of hospital patients with Covid is rising

THE number of patients in hospital in Scotland with coronavirus has risen by 15% in a week, new figures show.

While the latest data from Public Health Scotland (PHS) shows a fall in reported infections for the second week in a row, the number of people in hospital with Covid-19 increased to 1669.
