Covid Ayrshire: List of drop-in vaccination clinics open in the area this week

Vaccination teams across Ayrshire are continuing to provide drop-in Covid-19 vaccines on a drop-in basis at various clinics, enabling those seeking first, second or booster doses to protect themselves against coronavirus.

Lynne McNiven, NHS Ayrshire & Arran’s director of Public Health, said it’s not too late to get fully vaccinated with vaccinators ready to welcome you “no matter which dose of the Covid-19 vaccine you are due”.

She added: “You don’t need an appointment to attend a local drop-in clinic, just head along to the location that suits you best from the available options.

“Please note these clinics can’t accommodate children aged 5 to 11 years old on a drop-in basis.

“The JCVI has now advised that the COVID-19 vaccine should be offered to all children aged 5 to 11 years of age, and we will give details for how these vaccines will be delivered in Ayrshire when they are confirmed.”

The clinics listed for February 28 – March 6 can accommodate drop-ins for those who are unvaccinated seeking a first dose (everyone age 12 and over is eligible), people due a second dose, and those seeking booster vaccines (twelve weeks after a second dose).
