CHANDIGARH: As many as 292 cases of Covid-19 were reported in Punjab while eight persons infected with the virus died on Tuesday.
One previous death was also added to the state’s tally while treatment outcome in four cases was changed from discharged to death.
In Mohali, 56 persons were tested positive while 39 cases were reported in Jalandhar, 36 in Amritsar, 30 in Ludhiana, 19 in Pathankot, 14 in Faridkot, 12 in Bathinda, 11 each in Moga and Tarn Taran, nine each in Fazilka, Hoshiarpur and Muktsar, eight in Gurdaspur, six in Patiala, five each in Ferozepur and Ropar and four each in Fatehgarh Sahib and Kapurthala. tnn
