Covid: 200 more test positive in Ernakulam district

Covid-19 Ernakulam

KOCHI: Ernakulam on Wednesday reported 200 Covid positive cases. Of these 183 persons go the virus through contacts while source of infection in 16 could not be identified. One healthcare worker is among the fresh cases.

A total of 345 persons recovered from Covid-19 on Wednesday. While 14 were placed under quarantine in houses, 346 persons were released from quarantine. The number of patients undergoing treatment at hospitals and at houses touched 1,627 on Wednesday.

As many as 2,209 people are under home quarantine in the district. tnn
