Vaccine centres in Citywest and Punchestown have released their latest opening hours amid the rollout of Covid-19 boosters.
The HSE extended the vaccine programme to those aged 18-49 at the end of 2022, meaning that all adults are now eligible to receive their second booster dose. The HSE is encouraging people to get added protection against the virus as winter illnesses surge nationwide.
However, the HSE has confirmed that the recent spike in illnesses such as Covid-19, flu and RSV is now declining. Latest figures reveal that Covid-19 cases went from 3,474 in the first week of the year to 1,836 in the week of January 8 to 14.

Additionally, people aged over 65 and those aged over 12 with a weak immune system are eligible for a third booster, while those aged 5-11 with underlying conditions can now book for their first additional dose. Covid-19 boosters are free of charge and are also available at participating pharmacies and GP centres.
Appointments for the vaccine can be made via the HSE's website. The opening hours for Citywest and Punchestown are listed below.
