Covid-19 deaths fall again as Boris Johnson looks to end pandemic rules in England

Deaths linked to Covid-19 have shown another week-on-week fall, according to the latest figures from Office for National Statistics (ONS).

A total of 1,242 deaths registered in England and Wales in the week ending February 4 mentioned Covid-19 on the death certificate,

This is down 10 per cent on the previous seven days and is the second week-on-week fall in a row.
