Covid-19 death rate after positive test plummets since pandemic peak

THE number of deaths being attributed to Covid-19 in Scotland’s hospitals following a positive test result in patients has more than halved since the peak of the pandemic.

Public Health Scotland released an update on the severity of the virus and its impact on hospitals on Tuesday.
