Smart glasses will be banned at Newcastle council-owned pools, ocean baths, childcare centres and sportsground change rooms.

On Tuesday, Newcastle councillors unanimously decided to provide better privacy protections in public spaces amid growing concerns about the technology being used to covertly film people without their knowledge.
