PRAYAGRAJ: The chief judicial magistrate (CJM), Prayagraj, on Monday issued show cause notice to in charge of Dhoomanganj police station for not submitting report in response to an application of Shaista Parveen, the wife of mafia don Atiq Ahmed, regarding the whereabouts of their two minor sons, and fixed March 22 as the next date of hearing.
In the application, Atiq’s wife had alleged that her two sons — Aizan Ahmed and Aban Ahmed — were picked up by the police for interrogation on February 24 after the killing of Umesh Pal, who was a witness in BSP MLA Raju Pal murder case.
