A couple who met through a walking group page on social media are celebrating their engagement after a stunning waterfall proposal. Samantha 'Sam' Price, 37, and Roger Taylor, 28, have completed several hikes and cold water swims across South Wales after meeting through the Walking in Wales Facebook group.
The page, which has over 130,000 followers, was created for hiking enthusiasts to share pictures of from their adventures and meet up with other like-minded people to go with. Dental nurse Sam posted in the group for asking for recommendations on a new places to explore, with driver Roger replying with a list of beauty spots.
The pair then started chatting online and arranged to go on a walk together as friends. But this soon blossomed into something more, and now they are planning to spend the rest of their lives together.
