Taking on a renovation project is not something that should be taken lightly and there are usually endless things to think about.
However, Amy Wright, 24, and partner David Lavery, 25, were forced to make a snap decision on buying their first home in north Liverpool because they knew it was "the one". At the time, the couple told the ECHO they had ten minutes before the estate agent's office closed to put an offer.
They also said they were "laughed at" for wanting to move in before Christmas due to the extensive renovation work required. The ECHO's Where I Live series explores one property from across the region each week, with its owner giving us an insight into what makes a house a home.
