A couple travelling the world had their plans devastatingly put on hold after arriving in Liverpool.
Lydia Rolita, 49, and Stefan Mrozewski, 47, visited the city last week as part of their 18 month trip travelling across the globe on the back of a BMW motorbike. The couple, who had shipped the motorbike over from their home in Hawaii to the UK, parked the vehicle in a designated motorcycle space on Old Churchyard in Liverpool city centre on Friday, June 9.
But the following morning, the couple arrived to find the bike had been stolen with all of their belongings inside. CCTV footage appears to show two people with their hoods up riding an electric bike near to Our Lady and Saint Nicholas Church, at around 2.45am on Saturday.
