Miscarriage is a traumatic event which affects every woman differently, and can cause grief, anxiety and depression. Despite its impact though, losing a baby is still largely a taboo topic across the world, leaving many men and women feeling alone in their pain.
And it is not as uncommon as you might thing. According to research by leading baby loss charity Tommy's, approximately one in 100 women in the UK experience recurrent miscarriages, meaning three or more in a row.
Husband and wife Ryan and Rosie Willday understand just how traumatic and devastating it can be, having miscarried six babies in the space of just four years.
