A 'reckless' driver's illegal motorbike will be crushed after a city police chase. Police officers were out in Top Valley on a August 31 patrol when they came across an illegal electric motor bike driving recklessly on pavements and roads.
The bike was soon cornered by vehicles and seized by officers. The driver was reportedly not wearing a helmet, and police have said his bike will now be crushed.
In a Facebook post to the Bestwood and Top Valley Police page, said: "The Beat Team were out in the area on patrol when they came across an illegal electric motor bike driving recklessly on the pavements and roads in the Top Valley area. The bike was soon cornered and it was seized.

"Just because you are not wearing a helmet, does not mean you get a free pass because you think the police won't stop you... because guess what? We can and we will! Unfortunately for this rider, he won't be getting the bike back and it will be crushed. That's a couple of grand lost."
