Couple mistook for mum and son get engaged after 6 months -despite 29-year age gap

An age-gap couple who are often mistaken as mum and son and receive 'dodgy looks' claim it was 'love at first sight' when they met - and are now engaged after six months.

Luke Ellis and Steff White, of Devon, started chatting online last June and clicked from day dot. When they met in person two days later and hugged, the 'deal was done' and they started dating despite there being 29 years between them.

The 25-year-old said he was drawn to 54-year-old Steff's 'wholesome, down to earth and loving personality' while his 'cheeky charm', old fashioned values and chivalrous nature got her heart racing.
