A couple mocked for taking on a massive house renovation project are hoping to move into the house by Christmas. The determined couple were also up against the clock when they had just 10 minutes to get to the estate agent and make an offer.
Amy Wright, 24, and partner David Lavery, 25, dreamed of having their own house by the end of 2022. Once they had entered the rundown property in north Liverpool, they knew it was "the one".
As reported by the Liverpool ECHO, the 10-minute rush to the estate agent was worth it for Amy and David. Amy, an online fitness coach said: "We had ten minutes before the estate agent closed for the weekend, we rang up and we put an offer in."
