Couple have 'disaster' with seaside holiday hotel room 'not fit for humans'

A couple say that their summer holiday has been a 'disaster' because of the hotel room they stayed in. To make matters worse, Glenys and Graham Launders say they have been unable to get a refund.

Glenys, 75, arrived in Skegness with her husband Graham, 80, on August 4 to enjoy a five-day break with their family. One of their sons owns a caravan in the East Coast seaside town, whilst another was staying at nearby Butlin's during that week, and the trip was organised as a big family holiday.

However, Mrs Launders said that the hotel room in which she and her husband stayed, for which they payed £545, "wasn't fit for humans", Nottinghamshire Live reports.
