KOTA: A 55-year-old man and his 50-year-old wife were allegedly electrocuted to death at their house in Tejaji Ka Ganda village under Bhanwargarh police station area of Baran district on Sunday night. Their bodies were recovered from yard of their house in an agriculture field near a wire meant for drying clothes attached to an electricity pole passing by them.
The deceased were identified as Goverdhan Sahariya and his wife Badambai.
While washing utensils in the yard of the house, Badambai was likely to have touched the wire leading to her electrocution. Her huband, who must have tried to save her also died, Bhanwargarh SHO Dalpat Singh said.
