A drug dealer from Liverpool has been jailed after trying to establish a county lines supply into Cheshire.
Alexander Kirby was spotted by plain clothes officers from Cheshire Police who were on patrol on Romanes Street in Northwich at around 10am on March 30, following reports of drug dealing in the area. Kirby, 22, matched the description of someone believed to be dealing drugs.
Officers followed Kirby into an alleyway, where he met another man and a drug deal was set to take place. Kirby was detained for a drugs search before the two men were able to complete a deal.
