A county lines dealer has been jailed after pleading guilty to running a class A drug network from London to Norwich.
Tyrone Harris, 32, supplied crack cocaine and heroin over 120 miles to Norfolk for his “Tray county line” which he advertised by bulk text.
He was arrested on October 4 at his home in Lansdowne Drive, Hackney.
A search of his bedroom found two mobile phones and drugs, mainly crack cocaine, worth between £10,000 and £15,000, police said.
The telephone line was shown to be in contact with hundreds of mobile phone numbers, some that were known to belong to class A drug users in Norwich.
A personal phone was found alongside the Tray line handset, and officers were able to show they had travelled together indicating Harris was in possession of both phones.
The officer leading the case PC Phil Mercer said: “Supplying controlled drugs of any nature to Norfolk will not be tolerated and will always be investigated.
“Securing a sentence for Harris has significantly disrupted the flow of drugs into Norfolk from London”.
Harris admitted being concerned in the supply of both crack cocaine and heroin, and possession with intent to supply crack cocaine between 5 May 2022 and 4 October 2022.
He was sentenced to 60 months for each of the three charges, to run concurrently at a Norfolk Crown Court hearing on Monday.
