Council worker who died 'making sure others were safe' during Storm Eunice to be laid to rest

Council Storm Eunice

The funeral of a council worker who died "making sure everyone was safe" during Storm Eunice will take place on Wednesday.

Billy Kinsella was killed when a tree fell on him while he was trying to clear debris from a road in Co. Wexford in treacherous conditions.

The tragic incident took place in Ballythomas on Friday as the country was battered by winds of up to 100km/h and heavy rain.
