Council staff and school children in West Dunbartonshire set for coronation bank holiday

Council workers and school children are set to be given an extra day’s holiday in May to mark the coronation of King Charles III.

The local authority is planning to announce a day of closure for Monday, May 8 for all but essential services.

Councillors will be asked to approve the bid at a corporate services committee meeting today (February 1).
