Council secure tree protections on entire Toby Carvery site after outrage at historic oak felling

Enfield Council has placed an emergency tree preservation order on the “entire site” leased to Toby Carvery after the controversial felling of a historic oak tree.

The order, which will remain in effect for six months, will allow council officers to survey the site at Whitewebbs Park to identify where permanent tree preservation orders should be applied, the Council said.
