Council flies flag for Armed Forces Day

West Lothian Council is joining organisations across the country in flying the flag for Armed Forces Day.

The Armed Forces Day flag was raised at West Lothian Civic Centre at 10am on Monday (June 20) and will remain in place until Monday (June 27) in honour of our country’s armed forces.

A special ceremony was held to mark the occasion, hosted by Provost Cathy Muldoon, with invited guests including Ms Moira Niven MBE, Lord-Lieutenant, West Lothian Councillors and representatives from the military, Livingston Branch of Royal British Legion Scotland, West Lothian Armed Forces Day Organising Committee, and members of the public.
