Sadio Mane has recalled the "beautiful" moments of winning the Champions League with Liverpool in 2019 and the following parade that saw half a million people line the streets of the city.
Liverpool won their sixth Champions League trophy in Madrid with a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur as Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi scored on Saturday, June 1 in 2019.
Mane scored in his first Champions League final in 2018 as Liverpool lost 3-1 to Real Madrid in Kyiv, but the Senegal star got his hands on the famous trophy just a year later.

Speaking to UEFA, Mane thought back to the moment Origi's strike flew past Huge Lloris and sent the Liverpool fans in Madrid crazy.
"I remember the second goal that Divock Origi scored very well. I was over the moon at that moment," said Mane. "I couldn't believe it. I just thought back to my childhood, when I was watching the Champions League. I also took a lot of pleasure in watching the excitement surrounding the competition.
"I found myself playing a final and, more importantly, winning it. It was amazing – 2019 was an outstanding year. The celebrations, the club... You just had to be there to understand. I think over half a million people were out in the streets waiting for us to parade our trophy. It was just beautiful."
Mane ended his six-year stay at Liverpool in the summer and moved to German champions Bayern Munich, but he insists he will "never forget" his time with the Reds.
"Honestly, I will never forget my time there. I learned a lot – as a man and as a football player. The supporters were amazing, the people from the city were amazing," added Mane.
"It is a club that will stay in my heart forever. It is also a legendary club – they have won everything. And also, it is the club that had all the best Champions League nights."
