Gold Coast halfback Lauren Brown lost a shoe but she and her teammates forged an unbreakable bond at a muddy pre-season camp that has the Titans one win away from a second grand-final appearance.

Queensland and Australia representative Brown has been in red-hot form, as have her teammates ahead of the home preliminary final with fierce derby rivals Brisbane on Sunday at Robina.
